Okay, clearly my new favorite place to shop is
Amazon, but check out all the unique items they're adding to their site. I just found this
adorable multi-colored bag made out of silk sari cuttings (meaning instead of being thrown out once the sari was made, they recycled it and created a bag). The bag is only $29.00, which is a steal for something that is both beautiful and resourceful.
The bag was made in Nepal, and here's another plus: The company pays the workers a "fair wage," so no sweatshop labor used.
You have to admit that it's pretty cool that these talented creators made a purse out of leftover sari cuttings.
