Sonam Kapoor's photos from L'Oreal India's photoshoot were released. She's positively glowing!

Amrita Rao on Catwalk

Amrita Rao recently walked the ramp at the Wills India Fashion Week 2010 for designer Sumeet Verma. She looked absolutely amazing, as she glided across the runway in this stunning pinkish peach saree.

Aish Does Longines PrimaLuna

Aishwarya Rai recently shot a campaign for Longines PrimaLuna, and she looks amazing. I especially like the first still, the simplicity of the setting and jewelry is perfect.

Bebo Poses for Chronotech

Kareena Kapoor recently posed for an ad campaign for international watch brand Chronotech. Bebo was made up to be Catwoman in one shot and a mermaid in another. Funny thing is, the watch isn't even shown in any of the pictures!

Kat Walks for Sallu at HDIL India Couture Week

Katrina Kaif recently walked the ramp for her beau, Salman Khan's, Being Human show at HDIL Couture Week. Normal for a Bollywood actress/model, right? The unique part of the event was the fact that Katrina was wearing a black and white gown with one of Salman's paintings on it. The dress was designed by Shane and Falguni and featured a painting of a saint by Sallu. I'm not really sure what to make of the dress, but I can't deny the fact that it's extremely creative and unique.

Apparently, Katrina wasn't a fan of the dress she was sporting. Salman was quoted saying, “Honestly, she didn’t appreciate it much. Nevertheless, she enjoyed being a part of the show.” Salman then insisted that her opinion didn't change his feelings about art. “I love painting and that’s why I do it,” he said.

In spite of my mixed feelings for the gown, Katrina does look amazing, and her make up and hairstyle is perfection.

Anarkalis

My new favorite type of Desi attire: Anarkalis (aka Churidars). These typically consist of a short or long sleeved free-flowing dress, fitted at the waist, straight legged shalwars, and sealed with a dupatta. More and more celebrities and models are found to be sporting these girlie outfits, and the best part is they typically cost the same as a shalwar kameez or sari: the price ranging anywhere from $50 - $150+.

Here are some stunning pieces I found that are sure to be show stoppers.

Bipasha Basu Rocks Harper's Bazaar

Bipasha Basu is known to dress very revealingly, therefore the title of Bollywood's Sexiest Woman suits her. However, Bipasha shows us that she can actually do high fashion brilliantly, as she graces India's Harper's Bazaar, looking sophisticated and glamorous. I suppose the photoshoot came natural to her, since she was a model before joining the film industry. I'm especially hopelessly in love with her bronze-colored gown--almost a modern-day Scarlett O'Hara type dress.

Sallu & Bebo at Make a Wish Foundation

LOVE Kareena Kapoor's anarkali at the Make a Wish Foundation, where she and Salman Khan, as well as the rest of the Main Aurr Mrs. Khanna cast, went to promote the movie. Her outfit actually reminds me of Karisma Kapoor's (Kareena's sister) dress in Nach Baliye 4, with the scoop neck and the metallic fabric acting as a fringe for both dresses. Both did an amazing job carrying the anarkalis and showed that they are true style icons.

Wednesday

Amrita on Maxim

Remember the cute, wholesome girl from Vivah? Well, say goodbye to her and greet Amrita Rao's new look. The 28-year-old posed for the cover of India's Maxim in a skimpy white dress, looking extremely different than what we're used to. I guess she had to change her image if she wanted to keep up with the Kareenas and Katrinas of Bollywood. Does such a drastic change work?

Bipasha Basu at Jimmy Choo Event

Bipasha Basu was finally spotted in public, after being groped by a random man a little while ago. She recently hit up the Jimmy Choo autumn/winter collection store launch in Mumbai, where she sipped fruit martinis and checked out the latest trends. Bipasha looked glamourous as ever in a Just Cavalli black satin dress, carrying a shimmering Jimmy Choo clutch. Love her!

Unique Desi Shirts

This next set of t-shirts are from a website called Brown Man Clothing, and the shirts range from about $25 - $35 (I know... pricey!)--BUT they are extremely unique and fun. You probably wouldn't be able to buy a bunch of these t-shirts at once, but it would be a great gift for a best friend (girl or guy, as the site has things for everyone), or even a treat for yourself once you get that paycheck.

However, one of the shirts I found is a little inappropriate. It has a picture of a hijabi woman with the saying "Hijabis are Hot"  all over. It's not that I don't have a sense of humor, but I find it to be a little disrespectful. Nonetheless, the graphics are awesome and regardless of my opinion of the quote, it is a unique shirt.

Here are some girls & guys shirts:

<--LOVE THIS!

<--How cute is that? Watch out, Gauri!

<--HAH! Too bad her name is spelled wrong.
