Western Designers Inspired by South Asia

I've noticed that more and more designers in Europe and America have been inspired by South Asian cultures, especially in accessories and clothing. Surely you've all noticed sari fabric, gold beads, colorful bangles, drop necklaces, chandelier earrings, and sequins appearing in almost every designers collection. Thanks to the popularity of Bollywood today, these very essences of desi culture have become part of Western fashion.

I've tracked down various places where you can view and purchase contemporary jewelry and accessories that have been inspired by the very culture of Pakistan and India.

This statement piece is by Coach. This gold necklace made up of beads, chains, and charms. Busy necklaces = South Asian Necklaces.
