I had to share the horrific shirt Akshay Kumar wore to the Tees Maar Khan screening (and pix of some of the stars who attended). What do you guys think of the  see-through cowl neck shirt? 

 

Badey Dilwala Video from Tees Maar Khan

Farah Khan and Katrina Kaif have been hyping Tees Maar Khan like there's no tomorrow. The promo video to Badey Dilwala was just released, in which Katrina is sporting the silver gagra choli that has been popping up in every TMK still. Check it out.

Tees Maar Khan Beach Party

To promote Tees Maar Khan even more, a beach party/concert called "Provogue Tees Maar Khan Beach Party" was held at Juhu Beach in front of a live audience. Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Sonu Nigam, and Kamal Khan all performed at the event.

The cast is doing everything possible to make sure the film is a hit, especially Akshay, whose recent film Action Replay (co-starring Aishwarya Rai) was a huge flop in the box office. However, it's a known fact that Katrina is lucky when it comes to hit movies, in spite of her inability to speak Hindi (and in my opinion, act!). I'm looking forward to seeing the movie only because of the hype--and I like Akshay.

The greatly anticipated comedy, Tees Maar Khan, starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, will be released on Christmas Eve (December 24). Some of the song promos have already been leaked, such as the title song, Sheila Ki Jawani, and my favorite from the film, Wallah Re Wallah , which features heartthrob--and Kat's ex--Salman Khan (video link provided below). 

In the spirit of the hype surrounding the movie, I thought I'd share some stills from the movie, since Katrina's style choices are making headlines, e.g., her Meena Kumari inspired Pakeezah outfit in Wallah Re Wallah (see post "Katrina to Mimic Meena") and gagra cholis and white satin sheet in Sheila Ki Jawani. Katrina to Mimic Meena

Katrina Kaif has attempted to don Meena Kumari's Pakeezah look in a qawalli number (entitled "Wallah Re Wallah") in Farah Khan's Tees Maar Khan, co-starring Akshay Kumar and guest starring Kat's ex-boyfriend, Salman Khan, for the song. While I absolutely love Katrina's outfit, I admit I'm appalled that the stiff and one-note actress is being tied with the likes of Meena and Madhuri Dixit (for another item number). Meena's Pakeezah to me represents grace and elegance, yet Katrina's lack of both make me wonder how the song will flow. Nonetheless, I'm sure Akshay and Salman will make the song a blast to watch, and maybe, just maybe, Katrina's stunning ghagra choli will allow her to put her guard down and loosen up.
