Malaika Arora Khan was one of my favorite models at Lakme Fashion Week, 2010. She looked absolutely radiant and goddess-like as she walked the ramp.

It's Raining Gold: Lara Dutta at Lakme 2010
I love Lara Dutta and honestly believe that she is one of the most beautiful actresses in Bollywood--BUT I'm not digging her attire at Lakme Fashion Week, 2010. I guess it's not her fault, the designer is Raakesh Agarvwal, but Lara did consent to wear it--and walk in it! It just looks like beaded gold strings rained on her, or that she was doing a sleazy item number in a hindi movie. Whatever the excuse, it's inexcusable. The dress is definitely not fashion forward, it's just tacky. Cleopatra-inspired?! Really?????
Showstopper: Deepika Padukone at Lakme 2010
Like many, if not most, Bollywood actresses, Deepika Padukone decided to mix modeling and acting: She walked the ramp at Lakme Fashion Week this month. She was sporting an Audrey Hepburn-inspired gown, which I find to be absolutely beautiful (reminds me of a cupcake, for some reason, though). The gown was created by designers Gauri and Nainika. They did an amazing job, and Deepika was definitely glowing.
